About us
Films that inspire.
Films that entertain.
Films that challenge.
.Films that delight.
We love the cinematic arts
St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European and African-American origin in the United States. Filled with narrow streets and balconied houses, visitors enjoy a touch of Spain while visiting national landmarks like the Castillo de San Marcos and the Bridge of Lions. Located just a few miles across that bridge is St Augustine, Beach, home to one of the top-ten beaches in the nation.
Our mission is simple
St. Auggie Shorts strives to educate, entertain, and inspire future generations of filmmakers by curating a unique two-day event that is entertaining, informative and provides audiences an opportunity to enjoy a wide-variety of short films (30 mins. or less) created by professional and student filmmakers. Curated by the Cinematic Arts major at Flagler College, the festival programs thematic blocks of films and is dedicated to supporting those filmmakers who attend by hosting Q&A sessions and providing opportunities for audience interaction.
Our vision
Over the course of two days in February audience members will be treated to film screenings on the campus of historical Flagler College, once the sight of Henry Flagler's Ponce de Leon hotel, a US National Historic Landmark. All films will screen in the elegant 795 seat Lewis Auditorium with a catered closing reception in the theatre lobby.
